Mary Gillis Joins FlashCash

TORONTO — Industry veteran Mary Gillis announced she will leave her position as product marketing manager for business-to-business at gay video-on-demand provider Maleflixxx.com. She is leaving to go to a new position as “queen of marketing” at affiliate program FlashCash.com.

The change will be effective as of Thursday, Gillis’ last day at Maleflixxx.com, and she will begin her new job on Oct. 9.

“This is a very exciting move for me,” Gillis told XBIZ. “FlashCash [subsidiary of Dark Matter Development] is a strong and established company, and one that I know I can help guide to the next level of excellence and success in our industry. This is going to be a banner year for FlashCash and all of our partners. We’ve got lots of exciting changes coming down the road, starting November 2007.”

Gillis will oversee the marketing department of FlashCash.com, an affiliate program that operates 33 niche websites including VoyeurDorm.com, SpyCams.com, AdultMovieZone.com, GrannyFucking.com and SimplyGay.com, among others.

The company recently opened offices in Toronto, where Gillis will be based from.

“I’ll miss working with my truly excellent team at Maleflixxx and certainly miss working so closely with the wonderful people and companies I’ve met over the past three years,” Gillis said.

“Maleflixxx was very good to me and leaving them to take this new opportunity is bittersweet.”

Maleflixxx.com is the pay-per-view network operated by Sureflixxx Digital Distribution, based also out of Toronto.
